I'm Chris Brooks
I started playing electric guitar in 1987 and have been enamoured with the shred side of guitar ever since.
I've studied at the Australian Institute of Music, played in bands and recorded music for over 30 years, and created a catalogue of more than 15 chart-topping Guitar Technique and vocabulary-based books.
As a guest columnist, I've also contributed to magazines like Guitar World and Guitar Techniques.
